Baseball is still alive in CO Wednesday @ the MSC
Good morning, BN!!
Couldn't stay awake to watch it, but so happy that the Rockies are still in the playoffs.
Off to the work place, and hoping Mom made it through her first night in her new room.

Good morning.
Congratulations to the Rockies for advancing to the next round of the playoffs. It wasn't a good day to be a former Myrtle Beach Pelican. David Bote was 0-2 with 2 strikeouts, Jason Heyward pinch hit and struck out then stayed in the game and wound up 0-3, Victor Caratini pinch hit and grounded out, Ian Happ pinch hit and walked and Kyle Hendricks was the losing pitcher.

Dozed off after 7 innings myself Penny. Had a bad feeling Cubbies would rally late but Was happy to hear Rockies took care of business in extras. Wish you would have knocked off Dodgers from La La Land Monday. Would have preferred a Brew Crew/Rockpile NLCS battle but oh well.

Discover must have sorted their cardholders by zip code. I got an email saying that in order to help me cope with the impact of Hurricane Florence, I don't have to make a payment in October and they're waiving interest and late fees. I really didn't have any impact from Florence, except for not being home for a week, so maybe I'll make a payment anyway but I won't pay my balance in full like I always do.

Made a trip to Five Below and Walmart. I didn't know how few people shopped on Wed afternoon but it was nice not to be elbow to elbow looking for bargins.

I can’t believe the overreaction of our idiotic citizens over the presidential national emergency alert. People complain about the idiotic things.

The NHL season starts tonight so I think I'll watch a hockey game instead of the baseball game.

Florence is a little more than an hour from here. I drove through there on my way to I-95 when I evacuated ahead of Hurricane Florence.

Ahoy! I worked on the boat trailer, then loaded the wood splitter on my utility trailer to split wood at my friend's camp17 milers away. He cooked up bison prime rib. Sooooo good! When I got home, I found none of the trailer lights work. New project for tomorrow......yay.
