Final Day FRIDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. It's also the last day of hurricane season.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning Ladies & Bill....
Against my personal policy (which is no Christmas decorating before Dec 1), Chambers #5 is now decked out in Christmas attire. Funny how when a Judge "suggests" that the fall decorations are out-dated .......

Good morning BN. Final day of Hurricane Season is a reason to party here. We were lucky this year but not so much 100 miles east. Lots of rebuilding to do and 43 deaths at last count.

Good afternoon. I had to go to the Spectrum office and get a new remote. I was watching TV last night and went to change the channel to check on how the football game was going and it wouldn't change channels. Couldn't raise or lower the volume, access the menu to watch any programs I had recorded, couldn't even turn the TV off. I tried replacing the batteries and that didn't work either. Everything's working now.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Morning BNers
Looks like a pretty day.
Larry....our cable company has changed types of boxes and doesn't have our remotes any longer.
I have been ordering remotes from Amazon.

Well I don't know if it made the news in the US, but a large number of Aussie school kids have made our politicians look like complete and utter failures (Not just here but world-wide).
Ten of thousands of school aged children went on strike to protest the complete inaction on climate change by Australian government.
They attended rallies, they spoke to the media, they showed they know what they are talking about and that they are afraid for their future.
The politicians response?
It could be summed up as "stupid children, they should be in school". One actually said that missing a day of school to protest means that they'll all end up on the dole.
For me, I thought it was quite inspiring to watch very large crowds of school kids, making their point, while also being well behaved.

Well happy day and sad day. Four guys retired. Happy for them, sad to lose the experience.

Re: Final Day FRIDAY@ the MSC
Sure understand that, personally. I didn't retire, got laid off, and I took 21 years of experience with me. Sucks to be them.
BUSY day at work. Busiest since I started. Some higher ups sent an email in the middle of the night that we all walked into this morning. "Mock drill" on M/T/W for a State Audit. Good that it's not real, but we have to treat it like it was.
Then a 2.5 hour meeting getting ready for another huge review from the Governing Board next week.
On top of the work stuff? We're seeing Ina Garten live on Tuesday, Thursday is E's CEO's Christmas party, and my sister & I are having a financial review with Mom's stuff. Friday is my company Christmas party. It's at a bowling alley/BBQ that's popular in town.

Ahoy! I worked our town light display tonight. We have a wonderful Santa who is great with the kids. He sits by a fireplace in an open picnic pavilion located in the center of the park.
Geez, Rabz. That is way cool for the youth demonstration. I wish them well.

You just keep thinking that! Judge was gone 1/2 of Wed all Thursday and was to be out all today. I figured I would have the stuff out for when he came in on DEC 3. But he decided this morning to come in at 2:00. So I scheduled a quick Mtg with 2 attys on a homicide case for 3:00 and at 3:15 we left for the weekend. Seemed like a fair deal to metailgaitingph wrote: ↑November 30, 2018 10:14 pmAnd here I was, thinking YOU made all the decisions for Chamber #5...
