Pearl Harbor FRIDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. On this day our country was attacked. Our world changed on this date. Nuff' said.
On a lighter note, I live on a rural, wooded road. Two miles away are several farms. In a cow pasture yesterday, there was a nice buck 49 yards off the road, not far from the cows. It's deer season. This guy was hiding in plain sight.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Morning BNers
At noon, we are starting a flash flood warning/watch/whatever. It is expected to rain between a sprinkle and 8 inches! If it rains that much, there will be flooding.
Please keep thinking about the people in Houston.

Great pic, Molly. We're expecting that weather here tomorrow, up to 5" of rain. At least it's not snow.

It is in the 70s but very gloomy. It hasn't started raining here but according to the weather guessers it is coming.

It has just started to drizzly rain here. Maybe we won't get as much as predicted.
Did you see the train yesterday?

Good afternoon. I had an appointment to donate platelets this morning then when I was finished I went to the aquarium. I've seen billboards around town for the last few months about a Pearl Harbor exhibit, I thought this was as good a day as any to finally get around to seeing it. Nicely done. They also have a Festival of Trees every year - a Christmas tree for each of the 50 states plus Washington, DC, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. They made a mistake on the New York tree, there are a couple of Frank Sinatra ornaments. He's from New Jersey.

About the time the sunset so no one can see if the sreets are flooding.
At least it is raining and not the earth shaking thunder

Day 7 of 12 Days of Brews, the first 6 were all new to me but I've had this one before. It's pretty good. The same brewer makes a Pastrami Pilsner. I'll eat a pastrami sandwich. I'll drink a pilsner. I don't think I want a pilsner that tastes like a pastrami sandwich.

That storm is headed this way. They're predicting 2-3 inches of rain tomorrow and Sunday but the mountains of western North Carolina could get 14-20 inches of snow.springparrot wrote: ↑December 7, 2018 12:49 pm Morning BNers

Evening, boys and girls. Cold tonight, but it got to the mid 40's and sunshine today. Tolerable.
Going to a BBQ place with a few bowling lanes for my work Christmas party. Not the whole company, but the 3 hospitals in the Denver area. Ron and I have our "Ugly" t-shirts, instead of ugly sweaters.
Got to the doctor today about my back/leg pain. My spine and neck are a mess. Shot of pain reliever, prescriptions, and MRI on Tuesday.
Spine is a wee bit curved..
There's supposed to be space between those blocks in my neck.

You know that nice quiet rain we were getting?
Never mind. The rolling thunder is here. Almost rattling windows....
