If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning!
I'm pretty sure that was the reason the Rec Center that Ron went to yesterday was packed. All getting ready for the food that will be consumed over the holidays.
Laundry, dishes, meals are all that's on the agenda today.

Good morning. I have no plans today but the temperature is in the mid 50s and it's supposed to make it to the low 60s this afternoon so maybe I'll go for a walk in the park when the coffee pot is empty.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Good morning. Got home from Seattle this morning at 2 AM. Met up with SeattleParrotHead on Wednesday. He couldn't have been a more
gracious and informative host. Really represented his city well. He picked us up at the Space Needle and showed some of the
sights around town that most people wouldn't know about. And he was patient to put up with my slow-motion walking. My busted-up
ankle was bothering me and I had been doing a lot more walking than I usually do. Anyway, I just want to thank him in public on this
forum. Mel, you're one of the good ones.

It's a beautiful day. Instead of going for a walk in the park, I went to Broadway at the Beach. I figured if I got tired of walking I could stop at one of the bars or restaurants and get a burger and a beer. I opted for the healthy choice and just walked. I passed a bar with a sign out front - BEER IS MADE FROM HOPS, HOPS IS A PLANT, BEER IS SALAD. Works for me.

Ahoy! We didn't spend too much, but had a good day.
Big John had a great post.
Larry had a good line.
I want cookies.
Thanks, Linda.

Re: Mid-December SUN @ the MSC
A recap of yesterday..
Yesterday Ron and I had a nice, short visit with Mom. She was in pretty good spirits. And she looked good. She didn't raise a fuss when we didn't bring more tissues. (The facility keeps her extras locked up so she doesn't have 10+ boxes). I brought her some new shoes that are very colorful. She liked them. Said they were comfortable and she was ready to go back with the group, cause they had folks there singing Christmas songs. She gave me an envelope for Cameron. ❤ The picture of her I have at our home.
