2 hr work delay here -- lots of schools closed (again). One year our kids had so many snow makeup days their last day of school wasn't until the last day of June (and they start the week before Labor Day).....and because that particular school district had NO snow make up days in its union contract. and they still don't.

Good morning. It's supposed to be 70 degrees again today but it's really foggy. Maybe I'll stay inside, empty the coffee pot and relax.

Watching it snow here pretty hard. Expecting 4-7 then change to sleet. Do I close now? or wait till closing Time. Either way it will be a fun 15 mile drive home. Actually a bit longer , because I go a different way , which is a bit flatter. Not dealing with the hills.

Foggy and rainy in my part of the world today. Ran a couple of errands earlier, back home now hanging out with the dogs. Have a safe day.

The coffee pot was empty and the fog burned off so I thought I'd take a ride to the Marsh Walk and kill 2 birds with 1 stone - get some exercise with a walk along the Marsh Walk then stop at the Inlet Tap Garden, they have 50 beers on tap. The fog may have burned off 2 1/2 miles inland where I live but 5 miles to the south and closer to the shore it was still pretty bad. And the Tap Garden wasn't open.

Trying to get caught up on our vacation laundry. Ryan started while I wasn't feeling well but I might have finally turned the corner.

Ahoy! All area schools were closed due to an ice storm. A couple that eats at our local diner brought their precocious eleven year old along. He was doing his happy dance having another missed day. I asked him if would do the happy dance while making the day up in June. He stopped in a frozen stupor with his mouth open. I laughed an evil laugh.

So, today my Mom (with the help of Caregivers) called my sister. "I answered and wants to go to the eye doctor because she can’t stop blinking. It makes it hard to sleep when you have to blink".
