Song and Set List Database

Post by phjim »

I would like to announce a new feature now available at BuffettNews.com called the "Song and Set List Database".

The song database is a catalog of all of the songs that Jimmy Buffett has done over the years. It includes songs released on albums, cover songs, and unreleased songs. For each song you view a list of the shows it has been played at since 1997 along with the lyrics for the song.

The Set List Database allows you to view all of the shows that Jimmy has played since the beginning of 1997. There are options available to help you easily find a show by tour name, year, venue, city, or state.

I would like to thank Dave (aka gingerbreadman) for his hard work and effort with helping to create the database, and Mindy (LonePalm1) for posting a list of all the songs that Jimmy has done over the years.

If you have a set list for a show prior to 1997 that you would like to include in the database or a song that is not listed send an email with the details to: info@buffettnews.com

Let us know what you think of the "Song and Set List Database": Comments and Suggestions

Excellent!!! (Now I can quit using the old CoBO database... )

In the lyrics to "Love and Luck" the term 'megalo-moern' needs to be
corrected to 'megalo-modern'. Sorry. I'm a proofreader by nature. Forgive me if
I find more in the future. It's not criticism, just my anal-retentive obsession rearing it's head.

I wanted to give LonePalm1 thanks here too.

If she had not put up her little song list, then I would not have put my two cents in, then me and Jim would not have connected and have been able merge our efforts. Without the combined effort this would probably still be a work in progress.

So thanks for the kick-start, LonePalm1!

This is the definition of FANtastic! :D

Great job Jim, G-breadman and LonePalm1!
It's the best source of its kind I've ever seen. And just another great reason for RadioMargaritaville to direct PHs to the best source on the internet! :D

Thanks again Jim

Wow, incredible looks great. For the Kansas City, KS show it was at the Sandstone Ampitheatre, and it's now called Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre, about the only bit of info I have.

This is great!
I just used the song lyric search to learn that the CORRECT words in "Last Mango in Paris" are
Took the first fast boat to China
God knows why, but I always thought he was saying "...the first passport to China."
Dang! I learned something today!!
