As long as Big Jimmy knows that the few Americans who think like he does are the main reason we are the most hated country in this world. People who think like that ask for nothing but hatred in return.

Yep. I noticed that too, but posts like these can undo all that in a moment.

How many other artists have gone over to Iraq and played for our troops numerous times?

Finally glad to see Jimmy jump into the correct time and do something right. Maybe next time instead of playing some charity concert in japan for the japs, why not play a show for the soldiers of the country you are from , the USA.
I am guessing you didnt make triple digits in the Pilot game...

Way to go, Jimmy. I remember in the TIME questions for JIMMY BUFFETT, someone asked if Jimmy had ever done a USO tour:

Your music got me through some pretty stressful deployments. Have you ever done a USO tour?—Nathan Methvin-Terry, CHICO, CALIF.
I have not been to Iraq or Afghanistan. But I work a lot with a veterans' organization called Wounded Warriors. No matter what I think of the ridiculous way this war has been carried out, I think we owe those kids something, and I am going to do what I can to help.

Thinking how Jimmy does many, many things to help a lot of folks.

A most mysterious calling harbour
So far, but yet, so near
Where I see the day
When my hair's full gray
and I finally...disappear. BUT NOT YET!!
