I bought a 12-pack today that was on sale for $14.25.

Corona beer is like most (MOST) women I've been with-EXPENSIVE, BUT DEFINATELY WORTH IT.

The "Corona BLEEEEEEEECCCCCCCHHHHH" option was sort of close....but even it was FREE it would still be WAY OVER Priced.

Here is an idea... start a chihuahua ranch and you can brew your own and save money. They don't eat much and are generally low maintence. Of course training them to all pee in a bottle or in one area so you could collect it to bottle it 8) :pirate: MIGHT BE a tad difficult, but o major problem. 8) :D

No. Why are you ???

Though I have drank PBR before and I did find out it does vary in quality by region. Why that is I don't know.

I like REAL beer, and Corona just does not even enter the category in taste, pricem or anything else.

Even if Corona was FREE, it would still be WAY overpriced. Besides why fund the country, that is more noted for exporting undocumented people/illegal aliens and the way it treats undocumented workers/illegal aliens inside it's own borders??? Yet condemns the U.S. for not doing enough to help the undocumented workers / illegal aliens coming from their country?

I have to admit that I'm also in the anti-Corona camp. If you're interested in Mexican beer, there are so many better choices. Negra Modelo, Pacifico, Dos Equis and Sol all immediately come to mind.

By the way, the first two on the list are made by the same parent company (Grupo Modelo) as Corona.

I love the Hy-Vee :) really cool store, and at least the one in Mankato still has the the neon signs rather than the fluorescent tube inside plastic.

$22.95 CDN, taxes included. That's about $20.38 US.

Funny thing about Corona. It's a Mexican beer, yet it comes in clear bottles so it goes skunky in the sun. And unless it's ice cold and has a lime wedge in it, it's barely drinkable. But for all that, it IS synonymous with summer and Jimmy for most of us, so we drink it anyway.

Red Stripe is a couple of bucks cheaper and, for my money, it tastes better. A couple of local breweries sell a Corona-inspired brew (Brava is one of them) but for my money, they're pretty inferior.

Speaking of inferior, the worst beer I ever bought was Banks. I think it's Jamaican, but the stuff here is brewed locally under license. It was literally undrinkable. I don't think anyone actually finished an entire bottle. I ended up pouring the few remaining bottles down the sink.
