Deadliest Catch
Does anyone else watch this show? I've gotten hooked, big time. Then again, my great, great uncle by marriage built the Cornelia Maria. There's nothing like a family connection to draw you into a show.

We love this show!!!!!
As far as staging......the waves were real......they were in a boat .....it's one of the world's most dangerous jobs.....I really don't need much more to have nothing but incredible respect for the people that are in this show....and I think of them everytime I eat king crab and hope and pray they remain safe.............

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Glad to hear from other fans! Every time you see the Cornelia Maria, think of me! It was built in Bayou La Batre, Alabama, by Elmo Horton. It's one of only three boats he built to go crabbing. He was my Uncle Ray's uncle. I was unaware of the connection until recently.

Speaking Of the Cornelia Marie, WROR (105.7) in Boston had Capt. Phil Harris on the radio today. You can listen to their pod cast here, it takes place about 11 min in and is takes about 5 min. He talks about the prank that the Hilstrands played last week.
