I hear you blackjack....I sometimes yearn for the old days of No Decapitation/No Foul!!! At least back then you knew what you could & couldn't get away with.

Well. Game 1 of the SCF was blacked out in my area because of a hot air BS fest for Children's Hospital. Eventually found a website that allowed 4 choices - one of them Hockey Night In Canada, the other 3 were various NBC feeds.

So on that note I'll take Versus. But I still don't like either - especially Milbury and that little puppet. Those guys are TERRIBLE. Milbury is as much of a hack on TV as he was on the ice.

good game last night...Pens were as dominant as Detroit was in game 1....Wings look tired while the Pens look like they're getting their second wind.
Best of 3, this should be good!!!!

It's win or you're done for the Pens now. Too many stupid penalties cost them.

Who knew the ref was gonna start using his whistle?

Pens will win on Tuesday and take it back to Detroit and finally win one at the Joe.

I have to back the refs using their whistle tonight, the Pens deserved the penalties they got, elbows to the head, slashes, stupid penalties all around by them. Wings kept their composure and turned several of those penalties into goals.

Embarassing display of goons-men-ship by Pens Saturday night. Verrry intolerable for the Stanley Cup Finals! :-?

Sorry the Pens aren't as subtle at their cheating as the Wings are. They'll have to work on that.

Blackjack, don't confuse talent for cheating like you do with the Penguins. That goes against the Red Wings' work ethic.

You mean the closing of the hand over the puck TWICE in the crease by Zetterberg? you mean the DIVING by virtualyl every member of the squad but especially Osgood?
You mean the clutching on every shift?
Even the Wing-sucking announcers referred to "Subtle Interference on several occasions" when referring to the Wings play. (But I guess "subtle" intereference isn't a penalty...sort of like being a "little" pregnant.)

Of course I'm just bitter after the shellacking, but don't call it work ethic and hold them in such high regard when they are just better at cheating.

I predict on Tuesday everyone on the Wings will be seen clutching..........THE STANLEY CUP!

Yes...clutching the Stanley Cup...closing hands over the Stanley Cup...grasping the Stanley Cup...

If that's not winning - it's certainly not whining like some Penguins fans do, or is that Sydney? - then I don't know what else it could be. Oh, wait, that's right - Detroit WINNING.

Penguins fans. So they're turning into Buffalo for these two years. Let's see 'em do it again next year and the year after - 4 Cups in a row for Detroit over Pittsburgh, all hoisted in Pittsburgh.

Mellon Arena. Is there a lot of fruit for sale there?

It is named for Mellon Financial, which purchased the naming rights in 1999.
