If that's not winning - it's certainly not whining like some Penguins fans do, or is that Sydney? - then I don't know what else it could be. Oh, wait, that's right - Detroit WINNING.

Penguins fans. So they're turning into Buffalo for these two years. Let's see 'em do it again next year and the year after - 4 Cups in a row for Detroit over Pittsburgh, all hoisted in Pittsburgh.

Mellon Arena. Is there a lot of fruit for sale there?
Really?!?!? Stadium name smack?!!? From a guy called Just Ducky, that's amusing.

And when did Crosby move to Australia?

It is named for Mellon Financial, which purchased the naming rights in 1999.
Is Mellon Financial even in business anymore? :o :o :o

Edit.... Never mind, looked it up... I apologize for anyone affiliated with this Bank but I live in the Midwest and never heard of them... (Of course you've probably never heard of Harris Bank either... :o )

wow, what a game........but I stand by my original prediction....the Pens can't win a game 7 in Detroit.....hope I'm wrong, but either way, it's been a helluva series.

Goddamn - Detroit is inconsistent. They can't win on the road. Home team has won all the games. So by that Detroit will win the Cup this year. But since that's what has happened doesn't mean it will. Pittsburgh has not gone away. I said earlier that I would really laugh if Detroit swept them again and it sure did start to look that way. But they're a better team this year and they've shown it. Game 7 will be very fun to watch.

This is the second time I've seen you refer to the Pens as having been swept by Detroit. Please enlighten me and tell me when the Wings swept the Pens.........if I remember correctly, the series went 6 games last year.

I don't know what I was remembering. I may have been confusing it with the Edmonton Finals trips - first one they got swept, second time they won...
