On Sept. 21, a 51-year-old Princeton man was arrested at Township Police HQ after requesting to speak with an officer. The man had an outstanding warrant from Princeton for civil contempt after failing to pay a $51,029.92 fine. The man gave police permission to search his vehicle, where they found less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. for which he was also charged. He was taken into custody by Mercer County Sheriff’s Dept.
I believe the arrested gentleman's name is Mr. Dumass....

Tonight's paper had a couple more good ones.
August 26 10:33 a.m. A deputy was sent to an East Gordonville Road home for a report of neighbors making rude hand gestures at each other. They were told to stop this behavior.
August 26 7:29 p.m. a Jerome township woman reported that her neighbor age 71, was riding his scooter on his property and blowing a whistle at her dogs. The man was told to stay on his own property and to stop blowing his whistle.

Thank GodBetween 8 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. on Nov. 12, an unknown number of suspects broke a glass panel and reached in to open the door of Franciscan Friars Living Quarters, on the 12300 block of Folly Quarter Road. Police said nothing was reported stolen.

From the next town over from us:
A Union City (TN) man was charged Tuesday for assaulting his mother with a ham. He and his mother were arguing and as she walked away down the hall, he picked up a ham and threw it at her and hit her in the back. He was arrested for domestic assault.
I have no comeback for that.

This was in our local police blotter today.
Ongoing theft is suspected by a woman who told police at 11:24 a.m. that her "night cream is being used up faster than it should be."

Key West news is ALWAYS good fun for this:
Chipmunk cheeks not so cute holding drugs
KEY WEST -- Police say a bicyclist with bulging cheeks and no lights wasn't hiding nuts for the winter, but Ziploc bags of marijuana and cocaine.
Horace Calhoun, 30, of Key West, was charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony tampering with evidence and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
Police stopped Calhoun riding the wrong way on Catherine...
