Because I always wondered why we've never created t-shirts.
EXAMPLES:
Be easy enough to do .... customizable even for your individual BN names too.
We'd need .....
1. phjim's approval
2. original logo creator's approval
3. a way to funnel payments back to the appropriate place (I'd suggest the BuffettNews PayPal account for BN Supporters).
Thoughts? I talked to phjim about this once, and his comment was that he'd "thought about it"
but had too much on his plate to ever do anything more.

Well it's a damb fine design. We should do more with it now than just print out the occasional lanyard ID.
And personalization with screen names is easy enough to accomplish.
I saw someone wearing a shirt at Alpine with the same logo, with customization. Didn't get a chance to stop her and ask if she was a BNer, or merely a logo thief. I know it had the 'either you get it' words on the front with the logo, but I don't think the Buffettnews was across the top. There was also stuff on back.
A couple years ago there was a car at Alpine with a giant car "Fin" made out of the logo. I was with the CaptainP caravan that year, and I think part of the group went and expressed displeasure with stealing the BN logo without any association to it. Damb pirates!

I have to agree that the quality could be MUCH better.
The logo on the back never stood out very brightly & the scrawl on the front isn't large enough. The only response I ever got wearing the shirt was...."what's up with BooFay News.com" (damn foodies!)?
The idea of personalizing is excellent!

Definitely Glenn's work.............actually have a pm into him to use the design again for something.........if I hear from him and he hasn't posted here I will point him in this direction.

I have a long sleeve T shirt...but like they said..The color didn't hold up well, and it was kind of thin...I love it though and would love to have a new Zazzle one....
I have a coffee mug too...even glued it back together when I dropped it...forgot about the glue and used it, and it doesn't even leak!

Yes I created the BN logo or the BN Parrot as I call him. Just so you know, I have just put a down payment of some equipment to begin a t-shirt bidness. I am hoping to be up and running by the end of August. I will have ability to do custom shirts on light and dark colored shirts and and also embrodiery. Also the BN Parrot is (as far as I am concerned) free to anyone here to use. I have him in jpg form and also eps form. So if you need the art, just ask. Watch for the t-shirt thread coming soon
