If I'd been there, I prob'ly would have hit on Karen though.
If Jimmy were to do something like that, he might need lifts in his shoes.
As it is, he claims that he keeps a small amp in his plane so that when he's playing some tiny bar Down Island, he can drown out the drunk in the back who keeps loudly proclaiming, "It's not really him! It's not really him!" (from A Pirate Looks at 50)
Rumor has it that one of my high school classmates (who apparently really *does* know the man relatively well) was trying to get Jimmy to do something like that to me at a high school reunion a couple of years back. For reasons as yet unknown, it didn't happen. (*shrug*) So it goes.
