Yep, if Gano hit one of the two field goals he missed, Redskins probably would have won (definitely the second but I think the first definitely that would have put the Redskins up 20 - 10.

I've been holding off posting in this thread for fear of drawing attention to the Cowboys... Best to let sleeping dogs lie. Or something like that...

And it was really hard not to after a win in DC... [smilie=asa.gif]

Green Bay vs Detroit — eight minutes into the second half, Packers up by 2 TDs (14 - 0), and Detroit is getting frustrated. They dominated the time of possession in the first half but had nothing to show for it, as the Packer defense bent but didn't break. The penalties — stupid ones, like unsportsmanlike conduct and roughing the passer — are started to stack up against the Lions.

Edited to add — second interception for Green Bay just now. Like I said, the defense will bend but not break. Rodgers just tossed a play-action pass — catch and run for a total of 65 yards and a third GB TD. The Pack will be 11-0 after today, as Detroit seems to be slipping into self-destruct mode.

The way I figure is, if you are deemed a "shitty" team, like the Lions were, they won't get close calls to begin with and a team like the Packers will get calls. Not saying that this is what happened today.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Getting tired of Suh self destructing. Getting tired of Stafford self destructing. Sure hope the Lions season does not self destruct.

As crappy of a quarterback as Jay Cutler is, the Bears will not win another game this year without him.

The Bears are 7-4, and currently the # 5 seed (wild card) in the playoff hunt.
Here's how I see the rest of their schedule for the year:

Dec. 4th-home against Kansas City. They COULD win this one, but won't without Cutler.

Dec. 11th-at Denver. No way in hell they'll win this one.

Dec. 18th-home against Seattle. See my Dec. 4th prediction above for Kansas City.

Dec. 25th-at Green Bay.

Jan. 1st-at Minnesota. See my Dec. 18th prediction above for Seattle.

Still, even with a final record of 7-9, that's better than I predicted when the season started.
Budweiser, please.

It's very simple. The Redskins are trying to kill me. That's why they're doing this.
