On my "To Do" list today:
Go to Scheel's Sports Store in Coralville, buy a Denver Broncos jersey and mail it to Marion Barber.
I wonder if the city of Denver will be having a "Marion Barber Day" anytime soon.

After not being able to tackle the little f*cker all game, I was very glad to see him blow it for his team. First he runs out of bounds and then fumbles? I'm starting to believe Jesus really does love Tebow the most.

Actually Marion Barber was the player who won the game for Denver...why he is going out of bounds and stopping the clock makes me scratch my head...not a smart play.....then fumbling in OT....they gave it to Denver.....i was at a bar with a Bears fan and a Broncos fan.....i thought the bears fan was going to jump off a bridge!!!
It had to s*** being one down away from kicking a field goal and then quite literally dropping the ball. It was a gift, that's for sure.

Haley has got to be close to being out the door this week. I can't remember a coach getting a penalty like that. And there is nothing to say about Tyler Palko.
GREEN BAY PACKERS TO-DO LIST — 2011

Beat the Vikes twice — check
Beat the Bears twice — one down, one to go
Win the division — check
Get 1st-round bye — check
Get home-field advantage thru playoffs — one game for sure, working on the second
Go 16 - 0 for the season — looking good!
Win Super Bowl XLVI — time will tell.......

Am I gloating? Just a little.

Ugh.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Tim Tebow is the best thing to happen to the N.F.L. since John Unitas and Joe Montana, but I really think Denver owes Marion Braindead a key to the city.

How long is the win streak going back to last year now?
19
• the last two games of the 2010 regular season
• the wildcard playoff game
• the division playoff game
• the NFC championship game
• Super Bowl XLV
• and the 13 regular-season games so far.

Although I suppose sooner or later someone is going to mention that Green Bay did lose the first 2011 pre-season game, and say that the streak should actually start with pre-season game #2.....

(to which I say that win or lose, pre-season games don't count for squat and they can just bite me!)

I think you're over estimating the interest
in breaking down the minutia of the Packers current streak.

If I may offer an opinion...

The only reason non Packer fans care about the streak, is the hope, that one day, Mercury Morris opening a bottle of champagne is not a newsworthy event!!!

You all know I love my Cowboys, but I am realistic. If the Cowboys aren't going to win anything, then GO PACKERS!!! This year, at least...

exactly. the survivors of that Dolphin team getting together every year for a reunion, sure. drinking together and watching a game together sure. wth. Getting together to crack a bottle of champagne or two to celebrate some other team's misfortune, and my attitude toward them goes to "I hope every one of you miserable sorry washed-up *$)&%*$) *$&%)$*&% 8475*&)#@_@+ freakin' choke on the toast and EMTs can't make it in time to revive you."

For some reason it doesn't bother me nearly as much to hope the Packers can take it all the way with no losses as it did with the Patriots. Even if my Denver Tebows make it to the playoffs, there is no way they can sustain themselves against teams who are going 16-0, 14-2 etc. in a season.

According to snopes.com, the 1972 Dolphins celebrating the last unbeaten team losing is false. http://www.snopes.com/sports/football/miami72.asp

I say to a co-worker today "What do you think the Jags should do with Gabbert?"
He says "I got me a new team now" as he reaches up and grabs his Broncos visor.
Silly Gator fan just trying to hold on to what once was, I guess.
Can't say I blame him much as the Jags & Gators sucketh of epic proportions this year.

All in all it's just a.......................nother tool in the box.

Great day for a Tampa tailgate party.
Sunny and 80 with a slight breeze.
My team sux but my tailgate rox.

Prediction
cowboys 45 ( The cowboys bandwagon fills up once again)
BUCCANEERS 12 (4 field goals, 12 penaltys, 5 turnovers)
Hoist up the mainsail...add a little BAM to the ginger ale...
