The 2012 Winter Classic is being held in Philadelphia this year with the Flyers playing the Rangers on January 2, 2012 at Citizens Bank Park.
My understanding is that enough tickets will be allotted for Flyers season ticket holders...problem is I am not a season ticket holder.
But...if you are and do not want to sit outside in the freezing Phila winter and therefore don't want your tickets, I know a hubby and keet and their Mammabear who would love to buy them from you and save you from such a frost bitten fate!
I believe they are going to try to keep it with at least ONE Original 6 team in it every year.
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.
4 of us are heading down from NY. We've got hotel reservations across the street at the Holiday Inn if anyone wants to join us for a cocktail or two the night before.

I don't care who plays the classic, I just love watching the game. It's even better when a little snow falls.
So if I understand this correctly........there's a hockey game played outside (hopefully in the snow) and people sit out in the freezing cold for several hours to watch it................

Don't worry we will be sure to prepare ourselves properly so we don't feel a thing!

It's a celebration of how we all learned to play. Personally, I'd like to see a Canadian team in each year.
Wonder when they're gonna do one in the sunbelt-they actually had an exhibition in Las Vegas during the 90's...
The Have A Skate With Bob Foundation helps to support the goals and mission of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network thanks to KC and Chicago area hockey players. We will defeat this opponent in our lifetime!
