As I thought about the passing of Steve Jobs I thought about the huge impact his vision, company, and products have had on this world. Most of us have an "i-something". We have these products because they are "smart" and have become part of the fabric of our lives. Being old enough to have watched the complete evolution of Microsoft and Apple I realize that Jobs and Gates really are the Edison and Ford of our lifetime. Thanks and sail on Steve

I would not have contemplated going back into the design field if not for the Mac OS/
I thought that computers were just a collection of DOS code, and way too much for this head to take.

Enter Macintosh.

It's not arguable that he made life much easier for millions of people, and changed the way the majority of us live, but, even without that. he was a living, breathing. human being, and, unless your name is Bin Laden, Saddam Hussien, Castro, Chavez, etc., no human being should have to go out the way Mr. Jobs did.
Very sad for all of us, very heartbreaking for all who loved him.

Even though I can honestly say I have never bought an "Apple" product in my life I realize that the contributions this man made to our world have greatly affected my life.
