Gift basket ideas, please

I have a good friend that is having a double mastectomy soon.
When she gets out of the hospital, she is going to need some distractions and fun.
I thought about making her a basket of things she can do with her grandson and keep her busy too.

So far, I have
coloring books
crayons
markers
pipe cleaners
cards for solitary

Any other suggestions?

How about some snacks while they do the crafts like microwave popcorn or cookies?
How old is the grandson?

Grandma was a Kindergarten teacher for years, so she knows all the right things to do with kids, but during this recouperation time, I just want to make it easier for her.

She is a really special person.

My kids love playing with Playdo with my parents. They make all different types of food. Just don't eat it. It's a little salty.

Not much to add, Molly....but what a sweet idea....
Caitlin LOVED making those little keychains out of beads....you could make lizards or whatever....we spent hours doing those!
