My current job is running an espionage-themed restaurant/nightclub.
The "real" Jack Ryan has been in, and we have a display about him.
We'll be making a big deal about Clancy's passing.

12 of his 17 books were #1 on the N.Y. Times best seller list. I've read 14 in all. I need to get my hands on his most recent, "Threat Victor."

Only familiar with Hunt for Red October. But my dad was a big fan and listened to most of his books on tape.

So sad, I have bought every Clancy book......even when a ghost writer was writing them. Huge loss for many.
His last book is due out in December.
