1st college football memory.
Sunday morning Notre Dame replay on the tube with Lindsay Nelson doing the commentating & Parseghian patrolling the sidelines. Sometime in the 60's.
Sail On.....

Peaceful Journey, Coach Parseghian.

I grew up watching you and Notre Dame football (Armenian ethnic pride and all that).

All these decades later, your teaching, coaching and integrity still stands out.

Sail on coach. When my father was a first year grad student at Notre Dame, Coach gave my father a ride to campus on a cold winter day.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

I remember Lindsay Nelson as a longtime announcer for the Mets, he was famous for wearing the most hideous sport jackets you'd ever want to see. Someone asked him one time how he got all the jackets and he said he would go into clothing stores and ask a salesman to show him everything he couldn't sell.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here
