KILAUEA — On Thursday afternoon, three Laysan albatross chicks were starring on Cornell Lab’s Kauai North Shore Tross Cam and moving sticks around their nests was the order of business for the day.
There are 15 chicks at the camera site alone, and about 175 chicks that have hatched on island so far this season, which began in January.
In late December, the Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge reported 161 established nests, a 20 percent increase over the previous five-year average of 134 nets.

I absolutely love it. Amazing creatures!
I don't know if my father is a true gambler. He doesn't want to check out spanish.grand.prix.club.category.tipsters. Believe me or not, but he's not a gamer anymore.

The chicks have all fledged and flown off to sea.
They will stay at sea for the next three years before returning to their hatching place.

I was stationed on an island in the Pacific for a year that was home to a lot of albatross.
Watching them do their mating dance was a form of entertainment at times.
This link shows pictures of the Laysan and Black-footed Albatross and some of the other birds that were there.
Even Red=footed Boobies! https://www.flickr.com/photos/lindsey_k ... 753156251/
