Are there any "bad" parts of South Bend that you wouldn't want to stay in?
May be booking a hotel through hotwire for a blues festival & of course they don't tell you exactly what hotel you get until after you book.

Check out better bidding .com its a sure with a forum design to create a database to make it easier to guess what hotel your looking at. Don't go below 3 1/2 stars. Hotwire is bad about upgrading hotels that really don't deserve it. Figure the star rating is overrated by at least a half star but likely a full star.
