I realize we are still weeks way from the show, but let's get some buzz going here.
I joined BN to meet pholks and share tailgating. I joined BN to get to Cincy in 2012. I didn't make it that year, but did the next and this will be my fifth time at Cincy.

Hubby and I will be there! This past Tuesday was our first Buffett experience, and we were NOT prepared for the tailgating...but we definitely have a plan for July! LOL
Anything we should REALLY know before we head that direction? Like must-haves or must-not-haves?
We are bringing two kids with us as well...are there any NO KIDS ALLOWED restrictions at the tailgating?

Here’s the Cincy basics:

2 tailgating lots which open at roughly 8am. People get in line for those lots as early as 5am or so. The lots will be full and closed by probably 9-930. For those who think that’s a little much(especially with kids involved), many people park across the street at the actual venue, or Coney Island or the Casino down the street and walk over to the Tailgating lots at some point during the day. Keep in mind that the lots at the venue itself and Coney Island do not allow ANY tailgating, which is why many people end up walking over to us during the day. The tailgating lots themselves are pretty liberal in terms of what you can bring and what you’re allowed to do. Hope that helps!

Bring a pop up and lots of water. It can be hot, especially on the black top lots. There is a pool at Coney Island. Take the kids before you get them painted. It's washable paint. Yes, I paint kids too.

Whose lots are these? How many people do the hold roughly?

Further down kellog is the Mecca of tailgating where Sutton intersects. That lot fills early with gates opening at 8. There is a aerial view on youtube as well as one done from a scooter. Not that I'm a Riverbend expert as I've only been there once about 15 years ago.....but I would recommend taking a cooler on wheels. I didn't arrive until shortly after noon so the "party" lots were basically full, but I parked in the official Riverbend parking lot (no booze allowed), took out my fully stocked cooler on wheels & preceded across the street to the "grassy" lots for a phine day of mobile tailgating.
