Q: Is tailgating allowed? How early can we get in?
A: Yes, Jimmy Buffett is allowed special permits from the city of Tinley Park to allow tailgating. The venue has suggested a 3:30 lot opening, however from past years experiences we find the lots are usually open by 1:00-2:00pm.
BN Meeting of the Phans
The BuffettNews group will have 2 meeting places this year. Show up at these times so we can get a big group picture!
1:30pm - Holiday Inn Pre-Tailgate Party - To the right of the stage. Beach bum band starts playing at 1pm.
4:00pm - Tailgating - mjeischen (Matt) will be having a pretty sweet tailgating set-up. We will meet matt's "Paradise Lounge". This should be pretty easy to spot with sand, the lounge, and flag poles with 2 pirate flags and a key west flag flying. Matt is on the cell phone list. Call him when you get there to find where exactly he is located.

What are you weekend Plans?

Friday - We are coming into town Friday around noon. We are staying at the Windy City Camp ground and plan to hang at the beach, swim, drink, and sit around the camp fire friday night. (Unsure if we are attending mac yet)
Saturday - Wake up. Sit at the beach, drink bloody mary's. Head to the Holiday Inn for pre-tailgate festivities, meet up with BuffettNews crazies. Head over to the Parking lot around 1:30-2pm. Set up. We plan on dressing as the 4 pink flamingo sisters. We will try to get on Parrotvision again. Grill out. Walk around, and socialize, look for other crazy BNers.

Friday- arrive at windy city camp ground maybe around 7. Set up tent and drink beer, maybe not in that order.
Saturday- Find someone that seems to know where things are, and follow them. Drink beer. Maybe not in that order.
Sunday- Point the truck back east and begin to prepare for Cincy on thursday.

Sunday: tourists in Chicago, MAYBE see Deep Purple on Sun night(?), head home on Monday.

Sunday, church, bike tour the city , hit the lake, CRASH
Monday, check-in with office , check-out, hit Max's next to the CNA building and point it towards Indy.

We get to Midway about 5:30 pm on Friday. Should be so fun traveling to TP at that time! We're at the Hampton in Tinley now, courtesy of Big Phan... still hasn't been fixed on page 1.
Going to see Mac on Friday, going to the Holiday Inn on Saturday as early as we can get there! Sunday we'll be seeing some old friends (non PH variety) that still live in Chicago.
