I am trying to figure out the menu for our trip. It is a different feeling only planning for 2! We plan on bringing extras to share and/or trade! I am thinking skewered shrimp, mushrooms & peppers. Then burgers or brats. Boy, I am getting hungry! Just need to make sure the protable grill is ready! 16 days and counting! I can't wait!!

well we're getting stoked, we'll be hitting Chi town in 2 short weeks.

anyone staying downtown? mau & I are staying near the hancock bldg. and wanted to know if we can hop a ride to & from the show?

There are several of us going to the Cubs game, and, I think, as we did last year, we are gathering at Murphy's well before the game.

What's the best way to get from downtown to Toyota?

If you are up for a long train ride (about 45 minutes to an hour or so), take the orange line "eL" to Midway and catch the shuttle to Toyota Park. Cheaper and easier than trying to drive or taking a taxi, etc.

Just looked up shuttle and it doesn't run until 6:00. Taxi from Midway should be pretty easy I would expect.

Just checked with my travel agent hubby, he said it'll only take about 20-30 minutes on the "eL" from downtown out to Midway. Getting a cab from the airport to the venue should be easy at the airport.
