We're from Michigan?!
I'm actually not from Michigan. I moved here from Ohio a few years ago. Things definitely get interesting for my husband when football season rolls around...

Guess I fail. Or maybe I just had to quit playing around on BN and do some w*rk. You'd think they're paying me to be here or something
Is anyone planning on doing the June 8th pre-party at the Keys? Never been there, but would love to go. the only other dueling piano bar I have been to is at Jellyrolls (at Disney). Sounds like it would make for a fun day!
Also I notice there is a party at the Keys in Mt. Clemens. I used to sort-of-date* a guy from Mt Clemens, and I looked him up and he still lives there.... Should I let him know I'll be in town??
*We had cottages at the same village on Lake Huron; his uncle was a friend of my aunt; we used to take long walks and write short letters. I was 17 and he was 16.... I gave him up when No Parrot appeared in my life the next summer!

I was there a few weeks back. It was very phun. The new owners are very nice and working hard to get everything off the ground.
SC, what kind of music did they play? At Jellyrolls, you write your request on a napkin and take it up to the pianos (with a couple of bucks to ensure playing!) and wait for your tune. It makes for a very fun night. How do they do things at the Keys?

They played a lot of everything...For the most part people in the audience just shouted out what they wanted to hear and they worked it in. It wasn't crowded though, so I'm not sure if it would be different with more people. The guys who were playing that night also did a name that artist type game too. Lots of fun!

Does anyone know if J.D.'s Key Club is still in business in downtown Pontiac?
