TAMPA SHOW CAN YOU STAY OVERNIGHT IN LOT???

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU CAN STAY OVERNIGHT IN THE PARKING LOT? WE ARE COMING IN AN RV ...ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED...THANKS

They typically don't allow you to stay overnight in the same parking lot where everyone tailgates, but there is one possible option. When we went in November 07 for the Thursday and Saturday shows, we brought an RV. On the other side of the parking lot, closer to the Fairground exhibit area, there are actual RV hookup areas that could be rented. When you go on their website, it states something about it's not open to the public. I don't remember who we contacted, but we were able to reserve a spot for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. We tailgated Thursday in the main lot and went to the concert. After the concert, we drove to the other side of the parking lot, set up and stayed the night. The next day, we took the keets to the Tampa Aquarium and stayed the night at the RV section again. On Saturday, we got up, drove back to the other side of the parking lot, tailgated, went to the concert and then drove back to the RV section after the concert. It was the best overall concert experience we've had. The RV section was quiet, I guess everyone saved themselves for the tailgating.

We are going this year to the concert, but I'm not sure if we are doing the RV. If you get an RV spot, let me know.

piratenole.... we did call the fairgrounds and they do have rv spots available...30 amp $40 50 amp $50. We spoke to CaryAnn who is organizing it and she faxed me the form to hold a spot. We are going to stay Fri & Sat. It is around the corner from the concert, she made it sound like it was on the same property. Bring your RV !

The lot is on the same property. If you look at the thread for who's going to Tampa, on page 7 is an aerial that shows where the BN group tailgates. If you look at the bottom left of the picture, it shows the Fairgrounds. Just off the picture in that area is the RV section. I'm trying to find out how many people I have coming to see if we are getting an RV. I let you know. Thanks for letting me know it's available.
