WOW just WOW .. I'm home..
SURPRISE!!!
there were some pholks I missed.. and I'm sorry for that
I really wanted to lay a hug on some of the pholks I missed..
those I saw.. thanks.. I had a great time..
I hope all is well and all are safe..
I spent all day Sunday in the Day's inn stuck.. (flooded road)
and all (well most of the ) day Monday relocating to the Ramada..
by a sheer stroke of luck a fence fell down at the back of the property
and we were able to leave Monday..
I know that my trials were minor and want to treat them as such.
some thoughts.... I had a great time.. PM and crew Friday night were great the show Saturday night was good... it was great to see the ones I did..
Good BBQ and a great great burger..
my ride home was fun..


I'll do my best to keep everyone updated. I'm sure we'll be having a big party when our Margaritaville opens. . .Nashville will recover. This is the Volunteer State which has been proven over and over during all of this. We'll be back BIGGER, BETTER, and STRONGER from the experience!

on a very selfish note.. If someone could keep us up on the
work and reopenings (and closings )
Downtown.. I really want to come back, when things
are up and running (yep I know at least 6 months maybe longer)

Anybody got any good pictures of the rain, etc. I'd love to go to cafepress.com and make a t-shirt or have someone else do it for those of us who partied through the flood and those of us still dealing with the aftermath. Seems trivial, but it would be a nice addition to my Buffett T-shirt collection.

Yes, that is so very sad. We hung out there most of the day on Saturday and met lots of good people (and good bartenders too). I can't believe that's what it looks like now...

Seems trivial, but it would be a nice addition to my Buffett T-shirt collection.

This is a great idea and a tangible reminder of the adventure that this concert was. Keep us all posted and I am happy to help get something rolling.

Nashville Parrotheads. . .Nashville Humane Society is in DIRE need of bleach, paper towels, and old or new newspapers. The animal situation is really beginning to hit today. For those of us that helped after Katrina, the flashbacks are also hitting. The Humane Society of the US, whatever you may think of them, my opinion varies even though I work with them on situations like this. . . will be here in the next day or so. If you have any of these items and can get them over to the shelter on Oceola Ave, it would be great. They are also taking pet food and cat litter donations as well. I know this isn't the right forum for this, but I know the Nashville people are monitoring this page.

For those of us who are out-of-towners but still want to help, the address is 213 Osceola Ave, Nashville, 37209.

I noticed that, too. She looked like she was 'mouthing' it the rest of the concert. I bet her voice was gone. And of COURSE you can use that picture. It was on my camera, so either Gary or Mike (the one at our table) took it.

WAYNE ! I was so worried about you. I'm glad you made it home ok. I am so sorry that your trip to Nashville was so....wet. Next time ! Let's hope Jimmy comes back next year. I think.
