OK, Jimmy, I'm not waiting any longer.......you know you will be returning to Bristow for The Labor Day Weekend Show again this year, don't you????

Your faithful need to have a confirmed party target date to get us through the rest of winter here in the Mid-Atlantic.....

You're not the only one out here....

I'm headed to NY for a few days on the 20th so WHEN the date is announced
I hope the FRI/SAT ticket day sale will still be as in years past and not sometime during
that week!!
As much as I love the Labor Day weekend show...I think I'd just be happy with any
date @ this time

PLEASE Jimmy, give us the Bristow date(s)!!!!

Does anyone remember the year of the Alpine thread that was started before the dates were announced because "Jimmy plays here every year" and then there was no Alpine show?

According to the database here,
Jimmy has played 44 shows at Merriweather Post Pavilion,
24 shows at Nissan/Jiffy Lube Live
and 4 shows in Washington DC.

Total of 72 shows in the DC metro area dating back to 1975.

He has played here 35 out of the last 36 years.
The only year he missed between 1975 and 2010 was in 1976.

Some years we in this area got upwards of 5 shows in the same summer (3 at Merriweather Post, 2 at Nissan).

And I'm not even counting shows in the Richmond or Virginia Beach or Charlottesville areas.

I have seen almost all of the above mentioned shows.

He won't miss this area.

The traffic does get nasty and Nautical Wheelers for an encore at Bristow? I would have never thought of that.......

In!!! Was hoping for pavilion, but between child support and a boss who likes HIS toys better than me getting mine.......LAWN AGAIN!!!!

This year, I resolve to:

-EAT BEFORE THE TAILGATE!!!!!! You'd think after three years in a row, I'd have learned that by now!!!
-Park my butt and hang out with the people I actually came to see!!! I always end up going "I didn't see enough of _____"
-Start planning the menu now so I can eat well, and feed everyone that's been feeding me the last couple of years.
-Make it over to meet the Reefers.

We'll return to this later to see how I do.
