make that 66ish
If your only counting me as 1, it should be 3 (MJM and Kokomo).
And 2 friends might be coming, so it's a possible 5.
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

I concur with 100 as a good place to start. I'm betting 2 or 3 port-a-loo's.

As far as how many people would use it during the day, I'd take the number of peeps we KNOW are in our group and add 20% for wiggle room. We'll HAVE to limit use to "our" peeps. We could do wristbands or something.

Very approprate to talk about this topic today, as that's the "kind" of morning I'm having. This, too, shall pass. (That would be a fun sign to put on a PortAPotty now that I think of it!). [smilie=battingeyes.gif]
We are going to need toilet paper and hand sanitizer [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Maybe Bill has some leftover wristbands from previous tailgates?
No problem. If they don't come with hand sanitizer, we can grab a big jug of it at WalMart the day before. They usually come with TP; but we can grab some extra rolls of SINGLE ply (the kind used for camping and RV's) when we get hand sanitizer. I'll get wristbands. No need to bother Bill.
I brought hand sanitizer and TP to the first FFF. I could do so again. Or, since it looks like it's covered, is there something else we need as a group? Are we doing any sort of shared supplies thing this year?

As for the Portapotties, let's just all chip in. We could do PayPal and just get this taken care of ahead of time, if that's reasonable. I'm not exactly sure how to do that, but I can look into it. With sixty-six people coming, I think we can handle the costs alright between us.

We're not going to be a huge group, I'm thinking ... maybe two or three for the day would work ... I have no connections or even the vaguest idea of who to call ... I'll ask the nice parking lot guy when he gets back with me.
I can get a quote from a DALLAS company, but they want to know how many people will use it in a day! :o
http://www.provenportabletoilets.com/quote.php
I will email them and tell them that 100 people a day and we need 2? or 1?
And get a quote.
I wonder if the venue has a name that they recommend?

A lot of the generator issue for me will be if we are allowed to spend both wed/thur night. My RV has a generator and an external couple of outlets. I know Terry's still sweet-talking with her lil-ol East Texas heart.

No, unless someone wants to handle renting a generator (set up, take down).

We haven't heard from Bill re: slide, pool, Leaky Teaky, but I'm guessing they're not on the agenda.

I think you'll be able to park overnight, but I'm not sure there is any place to hookup.

As much as I will miss the 'fun' activities, it will be OK
We will have fun without all the tailgate toys 8)

David Holder with Alliance Sanitation is who I would recommend for portapotties. His number is 214-660-1300. I usually get 1 toilet for every 75-100 people. I used him back in 06 and 07 and I'm getting some for a 5k race I'm putting on in April. Feel free to tell him I sent you.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

I didn't see my name on the list, but you can put me down as +1. I'm not bringing the leaky tiki or other big tailgate toys; just a cooler, canopy and a couple of lawn chairs. Maybe a grill if anyone thinks they'll need it. I'm looking forward to just hanging out and taking it easy for a change.
