Since it was suggested, here's the "who's going to" thread.

Now my question. Anyone ever taken an RV to Verizon? I think there is designated parking for RVs but with the restrictions on when gates open, I don't want to get there only to find we have to wait til 4pm to get in.

My plan is to hit Charlotte then drive to Atlanta for the Saturday show. Since they are not opening gates till 4 it seems I think we will skip the weds drive down and just leave home about noon and be in Charlotte around 3pm and get in line.

They dont open the VIP lot until 4 but the lots across from the venue usually are open about 1:00 (or at least they have been the past few years). These are the lots -D/E - where they park the RVs.

I was just on the Livenation site to try and figure out what the ticket limit for this show is going to be (apparently everyone else has plans Saturday morning) and noticed that there is only one price point listed and that is pavillion seats. Hopefully this is just a misprint and the lawn seats will be listed Saturday morning.

I saw prices of $46.00-$157.00 (including those pesky fees) on Live Nation. I would assume that the $46.00 is lawn.

Apparently they have fixed it. This morning only had the $157 but I see both now.

I got some extra lawn seats. Tried to post in the ticket exchange but Charlotte isn't there. PM me if interested. Got the hard tickets, not ticketfast, so have to wait for the mail.

BTW lawn seats are $46.50.

across the road the parking lots open really early but yea the close in one opens at 4 maybe 5, not sure about vip

but I did spring for the vip package

This is the first time in my short Buffett-concert history (10 years) that I do not yet have tix. I'm taking a chance on a plan some friends and I put together. I had to physically remove myself from all electronic devices Saturday morning to avoid falling into my usual hand-wringing, Live Nation surfing, credit card abusing that occurs when Jimmy comes to Charlotte. I hope to finally meet some BNers this year!

last year we stayed at the microtel, just down the road for about 75, this year it was 80 with taxes, sooooo since we have been blowing money like a democrat!

and need to cut back, we snatched a queen cheapie room at the super 8 just a little further away for only like 40 bucks!

and ifn yer a senior citizen, or more properly one of the zillion aarp members, ( hell hey sent me a joining letter when I turned 35! ) you can get a room there for just 38 bucks!

s*** thats a case of corona and a fifth of mount gay rum!
