I will be one of several thousand like that in Pittsburgh, hope to see you there!

Is Pittsburgh still screwing around with opening the lots? Every year they try to delay opening the gates and every year it causes major traffic headaches. Very annoying.

The traffic clusterf@@k last year has me looking at cutting across to rte 18 from 376 instead of 79 south to 22 west. If this route is a timesaver my band of 12 merrymakers will arrive less stressed than last year. Bill

We come up 18 all the time. You're still stuck in the same traffic jam with
cops hassling you to "move on". Move on to where, dammit? :pirate:

As far as the complaints about waiting, and the lots, I have no clue. Karat is kind enough to invite us Buffet News people on the Steel city buses, we drove there in wonderful air conditioning, met great people, and were out of lot in moments and on our way back to the pick-up hotel. We were amongst the first in the lots, with ZERO hassle. As well as amongst the first out.
We rode with some of the most wonderful people to tailgate with, the locals made us feel right at home, and I am from Cleveland, something that does not happen often it Pittsburgh!
I will go to Pittsburgh regardless of where Jimmy plays, and that includes my back yard just because of the wonderful hospitality. And the price (Karat, please do not read) CHEAP! Absolutely outstanding.
Screw the wait, party on the buses with the people your parents warned you about.
I am am a pirate 200 years to late, and a fruitcake as well. Fit right in!.................

Wait. I'm confused. Pittsburgh is cheap of me? ;o)

We did not get out that early out of the lots, but we were the first official group in the lot. Because someone else is driving it makes everything easier.

Blackjack! Please see above. And believe you me, no slight intended.

If the before mentioned was not enough, Blackjack put on a food display that would make most Las Vegas casino buffets blush........Man V.S. Food would not participate, said it was way tooo much!
I really do not like to put people on the spot, but, since you brought it up, this guy had two grills going all day, you name it, he grilled it to delicious perfection, and a lot of it! Just when you thought there could not not possibly be any more, more came. Ribs, chickens, brisket, steak, burgers, sausage, and I am only scratching the surface. Two weeks later I was still in a meat induced haze.......(one of several hazes, but you all can figure that one out)

If I missed anything or anyone else, blame it on the tequilla. :pirate: I always do......

The bus the only way to go........if the bus was a little late to get out of the lot, no one noticed, as it was fun sharing concert experience stories. And was nice having a designated driver. No worries, no hassles. I ALMOST felt like a responsible adult. ALMOST.....lol

I will now step off of my beer case, errrrr soapbox and am done with my public service announcement.......lol Karat you rock.

Not sure.
