Karat is kind enough to invite us Buffet News people on the Steel city buses, we drove there in wonderful air conditioning, met great people, and were out of lot in moments and on our way back to the pick-up hotel. We were amongst the first in the lots, with ZERO hassle. As well as amongst the first out.
We rode with some of the most wonderful people to tailgate with, the locals made us feel right at home, and I am from Cleveland, something that does not happen often it Pittsburgh!
I will go to Pittsburgh regardless of where Jimmy plays, and that includes my back yard just because of the wonderful hospitality. And the price (Karat, please do not read) CHEAP! Absolutely outstanding.
Screw the wait, party on the buses with the people your parents warned you about.
I am am a pirate 200 years to late, and a fruitcake as well. Fit right in!.................

Ahem...
Blackjack! Please see above. And believe you me, no slight intended.

If the before mentioned was not enough, Blackjack put on a food display that would make most Las Vegas casino buffets blush........Man V.S. Food would not participate, said it was way tooo much!
I really do not like to put people on the spot, but, since you brought it up, this guy had two grills going all day, you name it, he grilled it to delicious perfection, and a lot of it! Just when you thought there could not not possibly be any more, more came. Ribs, chickens, brisket, steak, burgers, sausage, and I am only scratching the surface. Two weeks later I was still in a meat induced haze.......(one of several hazes, but you all can figure that one out)

If I missed anything or anyone else, blame it on the tequilla. :pirate: I always do......

The bus the only way to go........if the bus was a little late to get out of the lot, no one noticed, as it was fun sharing concert experience stories. And was nice having a designated driver. No worries, no hassles. I ALMOST felt like a responsible adult. ALMOST.....lol

I will now step off of my beer case, errrrr soapbox and am done with my public service announcement.......lol Karat you rock.
I was just kidding but thank you so much for the kind words.

We haven't made up our minds for this show yet. Wife started a new job and won't have a lot of vacation time.

I'd love to get there, but we'll see.

And yes, Karat rocks!

Hi all,
Got our tickets...one GOOD thing about being "officially handicapped" is we get all the good seats and parking spaces. However, I won't be riding the bus this year, but hopefully will be able to follow right behind and use my charm and slurred speech to get in close to y'all so I can tailgate. I will need my car so I can rest in air conditioning and get some downtime to make sure I can walk and talk at concert time. It's tough changing my lifestyle so dramatically in a year, but I am F**KING DETERMINED TO party with y'ouns and see the show. I WILL be staying at the host hotel the night before and partying for a while. Need to store up my energy, but don't want to miss too much.

Can't wait to see all my Burgh' friends again.

:wench: (with a lisp) hehehe

Thanks for the info & set-up for the DoubleTree! Just booked my 2 nights there. Looking forward to what should be a great "sandwich" between the Cinci & Detroit shows! Thanks to the pre-sale, got Floor CC's this am for Comerica.
If anyone is looking to book at is or was the sold-out Holiday Inn in Weirton WV & the Best Western in Stuebenville OH, I just made cancellations at both.

Don't want to go through Detroit City,
Customs there they hassle me!
