Not quite sure which Menu is being offered on the Lanai where our party will be held Mrs BBQ. All we were told is that food would be available for order off the Menu! I'll forward your question to our contact at Tiki's and see if I can get an answer. Mahalo

Those of you making a return trip to Waikiki are in for a little surprise...
You may be looking forward to visiting the Margaritaville store on Kalakaua Avenue:
But it's not there anymore, you'll have to go upstairs to the Beachcomber Hotel lobby (right next to the Honolulu Surfing Museum/Bar):

Tiki's Lunch Menu will be available from 10:30am - 4pm. Afterward our Lanai Dinner Menu will be available in the Bar Lanai section from 4:30pm - until the party ends. After 4pm, if there is something on Tiki's Dinner Menu that a guest wants, please ask the server to ask a manager to see what we can do. At Tiki's, we feature 3 different menus throughout the day with a lot of different variety, so depending on how busy the kitchen is, we will do our best to accommodate those requests. To view all menus, please visit: http://tikisgrill.com/menus/

Thanks for the menu info. My wife pretty much lives on chicken salads so between 3 menus she should be able to find something. This time two weeks from now we will have just landed. Can't freaking wait.

Re: Who's Going to Hawaii December 14?
Aloha,
We're two weeks out from the big weekend!!! So far we've sold 100 tickets for "5 O'Clock on the Beach" Pre Concert Party at Tiki's Grill. Just sent the last tickets that will be mailed, so hopefully they all arrive before everyone departs for the Islands! If you purchase after this point we will have your name on a list at the entry area, and will hand out your tickets and wristbands. You can also go to www.eventbrite.com search for "5 O'Clock ont he Beach" and purchase electronic tickets.
If you are still in need of tickets to the JB show, we've had several folks in the club who've had to change plans due to health reasons and are looking to sell their seats at face value. Two tickets are in Section DD1 row 15 and two in EE1 row 14. Please email us at pauhanaparrothd@aol.com if you're interested.
Also we've added several additional Jim Morris House Concerts! They are somewhat limited due to space, but if you'd like to go we can send out Evites. The first one is Friday the 13th and will be a 6pm start, and the second date is Monday the 16th and will be a 4:00pm start. Both are located outside the Waikiki area, so you will need access to transportation. If enough folks are interested we can help arrange carpools or possibly a shuttle. Please email us at pauhanaparrothd@aol.com if you'd like an evite for either one of these show's.
Look forward to seeing everyone soon!!!

Re: Who's Going to Hawaii December 14?
Sounds like a great weekend of JB festivities! We or at least I should be at all of those except for the Monday night Jim Morris Party - unfortunately we are flying home Monday night. I sent the email about the shuttle today as well! Will be sure to pick up some beverages before the shuttle gets to Waikiki!!
Thanks again for putting this all together! Going to be a great first trip to the Island!

If it's Sunday and I'm in Honolulu, you know where you'll find me (and maybe JB...)
This was 2 weeks ago....
We'll be on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island next week... I wish we could hop over to Oahu to see Jimmy and meet up with phellow Parrot Heads, but it's just not in the cards.

Things like this remind me of what a small world it really its. Not sure what our seat numbers are, but if you happen to see the people in the photo below be sure and say hi.prthead99 wrote:Same flight delta 840 am to hawaii
This photo was taken just after my wife found out about her surprise trip to Hawaii. The book goes counts down the top 10 reasons why we are not going to Vegas. She thought we were going to Florida til she got the last three reasons. Won't bore you will all ten, but here are the two that made her realize we were going to Hawaii and see Jimmy.
#3 I have decided to by this years Christmas Shirt.
#2 I have always wanted to see Jimmy at The Shell.
#3 Made the light bulb start to come on, but #2 made her face light up. Can't wait. If you see us at Tiki's be sure to say Hi.
