Who is going to Great Woods, July 19th?

The Chicken Box schedule is open that night.

I know this is mostly fun talk but Jimmy Buffett to my best knowledge has never done a scheduled show at the Chicken Box (unlike Stephen's Talkhouse or a similar place). Jimmy tells someone he is coming in to play (usually around midnight) and security closes the place down so no one can come in or leave. Jimmy traditionally plays 3 - 4 songs with whatever band was on stage at the time and then leaves. When I saw Jimmy at the Box he played with Entrain and when I talked to them later that night they told me that they new he was coming 30 minutes prior and that they were told by management to allow him to play or they were going to be forced to leave the stage and reschedule their performance for another night.

Of course it's fun talk. I tried dirty talk but I was no good at it. But really, he has to stay somewhere that night. No way he stays in Boston. He will stay at the Cape.

I'm feeling it.

Red Sox are home , and he's been known to show up at a Sox game , in past years, he does stay in Boston when playing Great woods , unless this is the last date of this leg of the tour. He could also stay in Sag Harbor, and fly in for the show.

From Bethel I like the Cape and a small but boisterous show at The Chicken Box.

If anyone wants to pop over to the island for the day after Buffett I will be there (just not at the crack as$ of dawn like the Beachcomber crew). I have many a good friend on island. We could certainly get a good party going.

When I say after Buffett I don't literally mean "after." I mean after Cinci. When I get home. I plan on being there for a 5 day weekend.

Confirmed that I WON'T be coming to GW. Just cancelled a room at the Red Roof Inn from Thursday through Sunday.......so if anyone needs 1 go & get it.

You can do it...you know you want to! I went for the cheap seats for both of the shows. I don't see JB's set list changing much between GW and Hershey.

it is only an 8 hour drive. Driving to GW is about 3 hours thanks to traffic. You know you want to represent NE!
