We are in! Booked at MGM Friday - Monday. Curious if the pre-party will be in the alley or at the pool this year. We'll be there either way.

Got my ticket, my flights and my hotel. Where is the damn party going to be this year? I've had fun at both the pool parties and at the alley. I'd like to know who makes the decision on the venue and when that decision will be made.

The Flamingo is pretty active on social media so if the party is there they will be quick to make it known. I've enjoyed the party at both locations, would probably prefer the pool just based on the surroundings. Either way we will spend a couple hours at the party, grab a bite to eat and some drinks at MVille, play a little ring toss then head back up to the MGM.

The alley is no more as that is now the LINQ development. I don't think having a party there would be beneficial to businesses there as the crowd of people would prohibit normal traffic flow of people.

They may have it at the back of the LINQ development (near the high roller observation wheel) as they had a big country music festival there when the CMAs were in town....however, I'm guessing it will be back at the pool.

Alright, alright....Let's get this planning going?! We potentially have a pool party at the Flamingo, a cabana rented at the MGM, what else are we doing? I'll be in town from Friday morning, anyone want to get together Friday night?

We still don't know if we will be arriving Friday morning or evening. If we get there in the morning the hope would be to hit the pool. Last year it was too cold but 2 and 3 years ago it was perfect. If the weather doesn't cooperate I guess we'll just start drinking. Hoping the Saturday parts is back at the Flamingo. Would be great at the MGM but I just don't see it happening.

Not even sure where I am staying yet, I was thinking Planet Hollywood but now may change over to the MGM.

Me too but on Saturday. No plans yet for Friday or Sunday but our Saturday routine is pretty well set. Up early to get a seat in the sportsbook. Watch 9am and first half of 12:30 games then head to the street party. Hang there for a couple hours then a quick bite at Mville and walk back to MGM. Back to the sportsbook pre-concert then in to the Grand Garden Arena.

Sunday we'll defiantly be in the sports book watching the Eagles/Cards game. The Life is Beautiful festival is in old Vegas and the Foo Fighters are one of the headliners, if they play Friday I'd consider heading to that. My conference starts Monday I'm sure I can find some things to do mid week.

This thread seems to be dying. Doesn't seem like too many people are overly excited about it (maybe it's still too early). I'd love to meet some other parrotheads at Margaritaville again this year. I'm in Vegas from Wed-Sun.

We will be in Vegas leaving on October 25 -- we are going for the Sat Oct 18 show.

We plan to hit up Margaritaville on Friday night as our last night in town.
