We are in for Cincy again this year! Bringing our 14 yo son for his FIRST concert! This will make all 3 of our kids having Buffett being their first concert! We are coming in Monday so we plan on being in the grassy lots again this year. We came to Cincy a few years ago and had a blast! Preparing the mobile Tiki bar and gas powered blender for another great tailgate! Hope to meet bodypainter and other BN'ers! You can find us under a Bears tent with a Tiki bar with Mike's Lone Palm Tiki Bar on front and a weed eater blender running!

Endless stream of babes waiting in his line that I had to entertain!
Hoping to make it there again this year but lot’s of stuff still up in the air.
Hiya Alan! Hey, I don't recognize this girl. You didn't keep for yourself did you? It's just Bern, Jamie and me this year, so come join us if you can make the show.

That is a nice logo on the bar! I see you were at the north end of the lot last year. I was close enough to the street, I hung banners facing the road. It was ideal for people to find me.Here's to another great Riverbend tailgate(toasting with an imaginary drink). See you soon! Bill

This will be our 3rd Buffett concert in Cinci, but our first year tailgating!!! We are planning to rent an RV and park to tailgate and then just crash in it following the concert. A few questions to those that normally do this:

1) Where can we park to do this?
2) is there a fee for parking and staying over night? Is it allowed?
3) Is there any electric on site or is it best that we bring a generator?

......and any additional information that we may need to know would be helpful!

Thanks!

In past years(check previous Riverbend threads on here) I think I remember people talking about parking their RVs behind the horse racing track. Not sure if they still do this or not. If you end up in the regular tailgating lots with us, there's no electric on site. I've never stayed overnight to see if they allow that there. I would figure worst-case, you could drive the RV to the casino next to the pavilion and park it there for the night. I think it's open 24/7 so I doubt they'd care.

Strategizing for my arrival Tuesday morning. Do I line up/enter the tailgate lot going North or South on Kellogg? Or do I need to be on Sutton road? TIA

[Exit at Coney Island onto Kellog and turn up Sutton. Drive to the end of the left side line, turn around(carefully) in any driveway you can, then line up. The right side line is for the Cincy club and it is a small lot.

For those wondering, Riverbend does allow vehicles to be left in the tailgating lots overnight. At least they did last year.

Just bought last minute tickets to see Jimmy!! I'm a college student and this is my first time seeing Buffett (FINALLY)!!! Any suggestions on what to do for tailgating would be awesome, especially since we have to check into the hotel as well.

Welcome to BN,MM. As posted earlier in this thread, late arrivals are best pulling a wheeled cooler to a friendly lot to party. Stop by for paint. Ask any security or attendant how to get to the grass lots. Good luck!

This show will be my first Buffett show. Myself and five buddies are coming up and hoping to have a big time with everyone. We are bringing a camper with us, and we are planning to stay the night in the grass lot after the show is over. Seems from the responses on here that that shouldn't really be an issue. I've followed this thread for quite a while before joining on and posting, but if anyone has any other tips, please let me know. I look forward to having a big time, and I hope to make some new friends on Tuesday.

I’ve remained over night both times I’ve tailgated in the grass lot.
The only activity going on in the morning is the scrappers hauling away all the leftover metal.
I’m planning on sleeping there the night of the tenth as well.

Starting to look like it is gonna happen!
And yes, many women that were debating whether to line up for paint or not ended up just hanging with me instead.

Remember these twins?
Can’t recall if they ended up painted or not...
Blame it on the Margaritas!
