If it would have been on a Saturday, I honestly would have flown down. I grew up with Feeding Frenzy being some of my main Buffett exposure, and I’ve always wanted to see Jimmy at the two places where he always referencing this wild ride starting and the two locations that made that album - Atlanta and Cincinnati. Jimmy isn’t going to do this forever, and one year I just need to pull the trigger, but this year just wasn’t going to work. As it happens, I’m actually seeing Zac Brown in Peoria that Saturday anyway, so I don’t know if my liver could survive that stretch!

Finally snagged a couple of lawn tix. Never been to this venue, but it looks like a good spot, especially for tailgating. I know they generally don't open the lots for parking here until an hour or two before shows, but I assume this policy does not apply to Buffett shows — as was the case for the tailgating at all the Lakewood shows when the lots opened around noon or 1 p.m. Anybody know what time they opened the lots last year?

From everything I have read, ATL is pretty tailgate friendly. We have premier parking, but no idea when that will start? Anyone that went last year know?

Lots opened around 2pm. Its no Lakewood, but a good time nonetheless. ... tailgating is much more family friendly. Lots didn't fill up until closer to showtime. Venue is great and clean unlike Lakewood!

Thanks for the info. Driving about 5 hours to get there so wanted to be sure to be there when the lots open. Hoping for a great Thursday show and then off to Nashville!

Has anyone found out from the venue how early we can get into the parking lot? We have premier parking. I have heard 2pm from previous years. We are traveling from 3 hrs away so I just did not want to be too early.

I'm in premier parking too beachbum. It seems like 2 pm might be the time. I could call and ask but that really takes the fun out of guessing and worrying about it on message boards!
