That was a little wierd how this show ended. I thought he was gonna do one more song. And I swear I heard some booing at the end...

Anyhoo, it was a good show. The audio mix was a little off here and there (his vocal was overtaken sometimes by the band), but overall, very good. Definitely a keeper! 8)

Good set List SunLover

When Steve says they're gone, they're gone.

I agree with Steve in that all the songs for the "encore" should have been in the first encore. What happenend to the second encore? Could the boo-hoos have anything to do with that????

Yeah, I just heard him say something about that; a couple upbeat songs, leave the stage, then close with a ballad. Steve did say it was always something different with JB, so I guess you got your "Something Different".

Not quite the way we wanted, tho...

And what happened with the booing? I'm still recording, so I can't go back and check the stream for that. Very odd...

Thanks for rubbing Zeus for us.

Okay, I just checked my stream capture. The booing started about 1:30 after he closed Southern Cross. Seems to me that the house lights probably came up at that time, so they knew that the show was over.

Since we've been tracking the set lists for countless shows, we know that there are almost always two encores, so I would be a bit upset as well.

That's why we heard the "boos", I think, because the something different was not quite what we all wanted.

As for Zeus, he is happily sleeping on the couch

I'm thinkin' he had to end it then. The show ended a 11:00pm. They were probably out of time. Did he start late? Maybe he meant to do one more, but ran out of time. Or maybe he just decided to end it with an upbeat song.
Bring me the hot sauce, bring me a beer. Going to be the last man standing, but where do you go from here?

San Diego is Wednesday night....Ya lucky bastiges! I'm only 100 miles away and have to work all week!

That just isn't fair! That would kill me to miss a concert so close

and Piece of Work=POW!!!
Conched, my boss is cool, but I'm not pushing the issue. The she-crab's boss isn't nearly as understanding, and if I went by myself I might come home and find all my $hit on the lawn!

I was at Anaheim for my birthday this year..I guess that will have to do.

:( :( no Crabs for the show :( :(

Vegas show

Post by net2cal »

Hey,

You missed one! Jimmy played "Schoolboy Heart" in the second half. I don't remember if it was before or after "Respect", but i know it was right after the intermission; i was still standing in line waiting to get a beer when he came out for the second half. All the other Parrotheads in line were singing along....it was a great time & a fantastic show.
P.S. I got my beers & didn't miss a minute of the rest of the show.

He didn't play it... it's the musical drop to video of a bunch of younger Jimmy pix...

It was actually a technical difficulty - he was playing, but the crowd couldn't hear it either.
