Could be.  According to the SPAM Museum in Austin, MN (yes, there really is such a place!) they're crazy for the stuff in Hawaii, Japan, and other parts of Asia, and that adds up to a lot of people.

I missed this when you posted it the other day. Funny story about pickle brine - when Nolan Ryan pitched for the Mets back in the '60s, he had a problem with blisters on his fingers. The training staff had him soak his fingers in pickle brine to toughen the skin. A couple of years later they traded him and he went on to be a Hall of Famer. Nobody they got in the trade amounted to anything with the Mets. Typical. :lol:
