His Anguilla, St. Barths, Paris...all the really unique shows -- not out to make a buck. Were you there? Do you know how ridiculously cheap the tickets were? Do you know how much of the proceeds were given to the cause? Quit eating the bullshrimp, I think you have food poisoning and should seek immediate medical attention.

I agree he's a fantastic business man, but I wasn't commenting on the day-to-day operations of JB. I was only speaking of the unique shows such as this Austrailia gig, Tahiti, etc.

Rather than feel entitled to be in the know, go along with the ride...who cares how much you spend on shows and/or airfare...quit yer bitchin. You aren't entitled. Period.

Jimmy's occasional show for charity aside, the man is in the business of making money. I don't give a rats patootie what you think of his business skills and I'm quite sure he doesn't either. The bottom line here is you attempting to speak for him about how he is tired of people bitching about certain aspects of his tactics (like pulling a show after announcing it thery by leaving fans in the lurch) To presume that he'd rather have a small concert filled with koolaid drinking fans there by making less money then a large concert filled with all of his fans there by making a lot more money leaves you looking pretty damned stupid if you ask me.

As for being entitled? I am as much entitled to my opinion as the next person. You don't like that? Go find a country with less freedoms to live in.

Now if I have said anything to cause a moderator or the owner of this board to be upset please accept my apologies and if you feel the need to issue me a 30 day ban for my words then go ahead it won't offend me in the least. I'm a big boy and I can take my punishment.

Well, Jimmy does give a patootie about what we think...at least that's what he told me when he thanked us and shook our hands. Let me ask you why the hell you bother wasting your life on this board just to complain about the very social group you belong to? Seems a little pointless to me. Whatever I guess...I'll leave the whiners in the dust while I'm enjoying the shows that I'm able to make it to...and be thankful that I can.

For us "Parrotheads" downunder, Jimmy's tour in the 1980s was a godsend. The aborted tour here a few years ago was a big blow. Bring on 2010 and 'Parrothead Mania' rockin' the Southern Hemisphere!! Fingers (and toes and all other appendages) XXXXXX!
