FL 2019 High Tide

Post by Luckyone »

Jimmy indicated that there maybe some FL concerts yet this year. Where does he normally play? Is there tailgating? Thanks for the info.

I've seen Buffett in Tampa, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Ft. Lauderdale. Tampa is a great tailgate. Orlando is an indoor venue and the tailgate used to be really good but I haven't been there since they built the new basketball arena so I don't know what it's like now. Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Ft. Lauderdale are also indoor venues but they have tailgating. West Palm is a nice venue. I've only been there twice but the tailgate was pretty good both times.

Tampa is one of my favorite venues. Tailgating is superb, outdoor venue and Winghouse next door after the show.

Fort Lauderdale was ok. As LIPH indicated, it's an indoor venue but they do allow some tailgating.

Me too! Would you be 'in' if he comes this year?
You're only as young as you are right now. Make the best of it!

I can't commit to anything this far in advance. Need lots of stars to align to make it happen.

These are all arenas. Does anybody know if there's much of a tailgating scene at any of these venues? I'm going to try to make 2 of them and just trying to figure out my plans.

My next show will be my 100th so I want to make it as memorable as I can.

It was too much tequila . . . . or not quite enough.

C'mon Jimmy why you got to play at the Ice Palace in December? [smilie=asa.gif]

April at the fairgrounds would be so much better. [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Oh well at least the snow birds can come on down and escape winter for a bit.

This might be a hard pass or see if Groupon has tickets deeply discounted the days before the show for the RIPH's. :pirate: [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]

that's more towards TIAA stadium.. Jax is an odd city, most people live near the beach from Fernandina to St Auggie and all the Jax beaches. It becomes a ghost town after work and weekends.

I hope he plays a Christmas song live at the December 13th Tampa show. It's been a while....and he did it in Tampa in '98
