Anyone know why Jimmy consistently passes up Kansas City? I think it's been over 20 years since he's been there.

I had heard a rumor once that he didn't like the main promoter there, but I believe he's been out of the action there for quite some time.
Anyone have a clue?

I went to the last show he played at Sandstone. It was the Banana Wind Tour I believe, so that would have been 12 or 13 years ago. When he did come it was either early in the spring or late in the fall when it was cold, which was a bit of a drag anyway.

Go to the St Louis show. It's only 4 hours. Indy or Dallas aren't that far either.

I just started going to the LV shows every year. Haven't missed one since 2002, and a couple of years I saw both shows. It's a fun time, MGM Grand Garden is great place to see Jimmy.

Did not like the way that sandstone treated the parrotheads. The only reason he is back in the STL now is because "Bud" makes Landshark... The STL people are doing a better job on letting us tailgate now. If Jimmy ever came back to KC it would be at the Sprint Center and use Power & Light as the Pre-Party area... Like Vegas has the Street Party. I always go to Vegas, STL and this year maybe Alpine.

How about a KC show at Royals Stadium (or whatever it's called now)? I attended a few "Super Jam" shows there in the 70's and it was pretty good concert site...and the parking lots around the stadium complex are set up for a great tailgate (just ask the Chiefs fans).

I think Buffett outdraws Royals games attendence even when he is appearing in Paris.

The new Wizards stadium is also being designed to hold concerts. It should be a pretty neat place to see a show. It is similar to Pizza Hut park in Frisco and the Chicago Soccer Stadium where JB plays now. So maybe there i some hope.

It would be great to get him back to KC, I saw him there many times, first at Starlight and then Sandstone several times.

I don't understand why he isn't playing Denver anymore either, he used to do 2 shows at Fiddlers Green and sell out both shows
