Red Rocks in Colorado or a dive bar somewhere in the tropics. That's just the two extremes, I'm sure I could expand on it.

That's another reason I don't go to MOTM anymore. The first time I went, Jimmy played at the street festival. The second time I went, I had dinner with Heather Dee Perry. The third time I went, Jimmy played the Casa Marina. There really isn't any reason to go back.

The Fillmore. Ghosts of rocks stars from the past haunt the place. The floor shakes and only about 1,000 people. Just fabulous. Waikiki Shell ain't bad either.

WINNING!
(seriously, man. you won)
(unless Heather has decided she just can't live without you)
(which could happen, but screw Jimmy ever repeating just for you)

Saw Jimmy in St Barts
Would love to see him in Paris.

Great Woods is always in the back of my mind.

Live out on Nantucket for awhile and go to the Chicken Box every night until Jimmy pops in and plays a few songs.

But for "real" annual venues I still prefer Great Woods over all others.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

Well... I'd really like to see him play anywhere in Seattle, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen anytime soon,
so I'll settle for the Waikiki Shell again; last time was pretty special!

Humphries By The Bay in San Diego. Perfect intimate setting for Jimmy. Where else can you be on a boat and still see the stage.

Jones Beach is my favorite setting/venue that I have seen so far and then Paris.

Waikiki Shell is on my list and a show in Seattle would be nice, as would London.

It is always fun to see Jimmy in New Orleans too.

I've seen him in so many places already I don't know if there's a venue he plays regularly that I would consider a "must see" that I haven't been to.

For me I don't see how it will ever get better than St Barts (although I'd be all over an Anguilla repeat) It's some of the reason I haven't gone back there (even though I planned to and cancelled) I don't see how a subsequent visit there would ever be the same.

Seeing JB on the beach at Gulf Shores was pretty cool.

OH yes, it WAS the best, as far as the most special show ever...next to one he did with JJW at the Paramount and the one he did with Mac at the Paramount in Austin...

but I read this as a venue that is likely to be offered again.

Wouldn't a yearly show at Gulf Shores be special? That amphitheater there is alright too.

1) Anywhere carribean (St. Barts, Anguilla, etc.)
2) Any small venue for a more intimate experience
3) From those describing it here, JB @ JB does sound cool
