I checked on Ticketmaster, Live Nation, MGM Grand Events/Concerts, Jimmy's twitter, Google News with Jimmy's name and of course Margaritaville.com and there is nothing. No idea what the source was saying that Jimmy in Las Vegas is confirmed.
Those who have been around here long enough know that I have reliable sources for the Las Vegas show dates and have provided them ahead of time in several previous years.

Could these dates change or be cancelled? Of course they could.....a few years back, the whole west coast swing was cancelled. However, the MGM Grand is reserved for those dates and the on sale date of 5/17 is definitely the plan at this time.

Hope to see you both here in October.

For anyone who likes to stay at the MGM, they have a good deal available now. Book Friday and Saturday night for $272 the first weekend or $256 the second weekend.....get an upgraded view and $75 food credit. Book now if you like it.....its likely to go up in price once the shows are announced to the public.

Look at the Quad and rooms are much cheaper like $59 a nightPlease don't fall for the MGM pricing. Also tickets are usually less than $50 each outside the show late. Take advantage of the people who buy early and get stuck with them.

Wow, just skimmed the yelp reviews of The Quad. Not good. Not good at all.

Also, if you want to have a terrible time (speaking from experience), stay at Hooters. Horrible hotel.

The Quad makes Hooters look like a 5 star hotel. Here's a recent review of the Quad (with pictures)....

BTW....I did hear today that tickets may not go on sale til 5/20. I'll let you know if I hear confirmation on this.

I really don't care when they go on sale though.....i never buy that date and the concert dates will remain 10/19 and 10/26.

What's strange, is that the MGM Site doesn't even list the show that everyone is talking about... It's not listed anywhere I've looked... Why not?

You can score cheap tickets at the pool party or even in front of the concert entrance but it's at your own risk. I knew a Vegas broker and he quit buying tickets for this concert because he always got stuck with excess tickets he had to dump. I sat in great seats for free one year because he had them left over.

If you are spending travel money to get here just for the show I'd have tickets secured. JMHO.
