In my opinion, I think Charlotte is better because of closer/better hotels near venu, not too bad coming & going. I live in NC & have been to both. We're headed to charlotte. I like both Charlotte and Raleigh but would probably say Charlotte is my first choice. It is all what you make of it. There are those who have had good and bad experiences at both. If you opt for Charlotte don't pay for premier parking as those lots open later than the others.
