I'll be in Texas but I don't get there until the 29th. There was a time when I might have started running around like a crazy person to change my plans and get to this show, like I did with the first Fillmore show 10 years ago. That ain't happening now.

With such short notice I would think it will be mostly locals. Anyone needing airfare at this late date, and for a holiday weekend, would be paying through the nose.

Just for laughs, I did a couple of quick searches on Travelocity. Airfare for MB-Austin-Dallas-MB is over $900, plus whatever Delta would charge me for changing my reservation since I already have a plane ticket to Dallas for the Frisco show. If I go MB-Austin, rent a car and drive to Dallas, then fly home from Dallas, airfare is only $600 but the rental car is $400, plus it's another 4 nights in a hotel and whatever Delta would charge me for changing my flight. Or I could fly to Dallas on Monday instead of next Friday, rent a car and drive to Austin, then drive back to Dallas for the Frisco show. That would only cost about $300 more than I'm already spending, plus 4 more nights in a hotel. If I still had a job and was able to get the time off, I might just be stupid enough to do it. But I'm retired and I'm not that stupid anymore.

Bought two tickets at 10:01! My wife and I moved to Austin this past fall and was really disappointed that he was not coming to Austin, as we would not make either the Houston on Dallas shows due to conflicts. Lookign forward to this small venue!

We were able to grab a pair - they went in 5 minutes, but if you were refreshing at 10, you got a pair.

But my confirmation email got to me at 10:23. So I probably got in after 10:15

i have tried a few more times and it let me put in 1 or 2 but then went to unavailable. I really do not need to go but........

I will keep checking every once in a while.

I believe the reason for no broadcast (and the small venue) is that this is the first public show w/ the "Working and Playing" set/setlist - so, it's a practice run to 2,200 people before the big rooms.

Just checked and you can get tickets online right now. Just tooo late for me to make it down there......
I bet it is going to be an awesome show, I think so many people trying for tickets clogged it up and now there are tickets left so might be a lot more room to enjoy.....

update........when i refreshed the page it went to none available. .... guess it was tempting me to drive to Austin!
