I know its early as its usually in August at Alpine but wanted to get the topic going! Anyone hear anything? With Alpine Valley and the closing rumors every year I never know whats going to happen!

Never fear...Jimmy will make us wait until the last possible moment to announce:-(
We have to wait for the bloody Chicago area show to sell tickets first.

Huey Lewis playing the Milwaukee area on July 16th. Could it be that it's because he'll be at Alpine Valley on July 17th opening for Jimmy? That would be an awesome summer date but highly out of character with the typical dates.

That would be different playing in July! Huey and Jimmy did put on a great show last year though!!!

Now starts the rumors of this being Jimmy's last concert, and is he gonna come to Alpine?!

I reserved a room at the Alpine Valley Resort in hopes that the concert is August 20th. Their online reservation system doesn't work for those dates so you have to call to make a reservation....plenty of rooms left. Hopefully this date gets confirmed soon!

August 20th is rumored to be GreatWoods as Jimmy is in Bangor Maine on August 18th

If I'm a betting man, which I am,

I would say Alpine would be August 27th.

It's been the same pattern over the last few years, Jimmy seems to end the summer leg at Alpine.

I would say Great Woods on the 20th, Pittsburgh on the 23rd, either Camden or Jones Beach on the 25th, then Alpine on the 27th.

It was just announced that Dead & Company will be playing at Alpine on July 9th and July 10th. So those dates can be crossed out, but also a good sign that Alpine is getting more shows.

Alpine now has 4 shows.

Pearl Jam and Phish usually run through Alpine when they do summer tours, but they are both playing Wrigley Field this summer.

I am willing to bet that Jimmy will be the 5th and final concert at Alpine this summer. Five shows sadly seems to be the norm for Alpine for many summers now.

This schedule is very different this year. Saturday June 25th is open. Would that be a possible Alpine date?

He's doing a show in Omaha on September 1st. Saturday September 3rd seems awfully late for an Alpine show.

Yet to announce Chicago, Jones Beach, Alpine, and Bristow....
