Thanks!
Tailgating was pretty fun last year! The lot is free, big and spread out. Not much shade, so be sure to bring your EZ Up, but (at least where we were) there was plenty of room to grill, people had cornhole and other games. Margaritaville had their bus there as well as a few other groups.
So, it sounds like they do let tailgating to take place....allowed room to put up canopies, allowed grilling, and room for corn hole games, etc. That's what I was hoping to hear!
Thank you!
We had a great time last year. The parking lots opened early enough (I think it was 9am) to make it a day-long event. Enough time to setup, cook, eat, enjoy, relax, whereas Lakewood, with the noon plot opening, compressed everything and seemed rushed. Only complaint was a low portajon population, could'a used more of those green plastic space shuttles out there.
Ugh. Indoors. I've sat through a cold April rain in Atlanta, mud in Cincinnati, but that's still better than the sterility of an indoor arena. Plus you can hear Jimmy better indoors, and his voice ain't what it used to be. Oh well.
I first saw it on the Atlanta Parrothead Clubs facebook page. They even established a date to have cash dollars in to hold tickets. But you're right, no other mention on any sites except Mr. Mayers.
A year to the day that Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band performed at Infinite Energy Center (formerly The Arena at Gwinnett Center), they will return.
At 8 p.m. June 2, the “I Don’t Know” tour pulls into the same venue for another dose of the Margaritaville experience.
Tickets for the concert are on sale at 10 a.m. March 11. An American Express cardholder pre-sale will take place from 10 a.m. March 4 until 10 p.m. March 10. There is an eight ticket limit per customer. Tickets can be purchased via www.InfiniteEnergyCenter.com, at the arena box office or by calling 1-770-626-2464.

There's info on line as to which cards are acceptable under this program and how the process works. Basically if you have an Am Ex card, you can buy tickets before others can, just put the sale on that card.
Wish we were getting a guest band like some other cities are having. Huey Lewis or ZZ Top would be fun to see. Is Jeff Pike in town that Thursday? How 'bout that Zac fellow, he's had a hit or two.....LOL

Thanks. Need to check with some friends and find one with an Amex. So just go online or call whoever has the ticket sales, like Live Nation or Ticketmaster, I guess.
